Brand Ad – Building Blocks

Fabric Mailer

This is one of my very favorite (and most difficult) projects. It was a 4-panel mailer with a perforated and postage paid return card on one end and a die cut ‘face’ on the other. (In the billboard fabric business, the front of the fabric is referred to as the face). I also included a clear plastic cover with printed lines that covered the billboard photo and was attached on one end. A customer could lift up the plastic to see what the billboard would look like without seams vs. with seams. The product being advertised was a new seamless, 5 meter wide fabric which was targeted to the outdoor advertising industry; the piece performed very well for the manufacturer. I had to work very closely with the printer and the postal service on this one.

Airplane Advertisement

This ad was created for an industry magazine for a trade show. I used Photoshop extensively to combine a number of layers in the ad to get the airplane in an exotic place with the water movement correct. I added a passenger as well.

New Fabric Comparison Ad

This ad shows the difference between the strength of this product and it competitors.

Magazine Insert

This four-cover folded piece was designed for a fabric industry magazine. A small fabric sample was attached to the lower right section of the piece, allowing the sample to be lifted up to touch and feel the product.

Corporate Brand Ad

I designed this gatefold ad as a brand ad, enhancing the Company’s long history

Small Space Ads

This was a small space design project for the loudest alarm clock in world, from Advertising class at Rhode Island School of Design. I added it because it was a fun project.

Brazilian Car Ad

This car ad was specifically designed to appeal to a Brazilian lifestyle for publishing in a local Brazilian newspaper. It was translated into Portuguese before publishing.
